Not for everyone. Maybe for you.
We admit roughly the top 2% of applicants: a tested IQ of 120 is a hard floor, and the rest is proof of agency, obsession, and the other characteristics that make someone successful. It's a pure meritocracy: pedigree, wealth, and connections count for nothing. Admitting the wrong people harms the value of what we provide, so we look hard.
We select for what drives success.
Roughly the top 2% of applicants are admitted. We’re selective because the network is a core part of the product: our connections to investors, employers and others depend on who we let in. A tested IQ of 120 is the hard floor, the chance of admission climbs with the score above it. Proof of agency — evidence you take initiative, learn independently, and have real ambition — has to back it up. You have to be obsessed with something. This could be a technology, business idea, an art form or field of study. Passion isn’t enough. And we screen for willingness to sacrifice comfort, income, and social life when the work demands it.

Cognitive ability
Our admissions test is rigorous and timed. The hard floor is a tested IQ of 120: roughly the top 10% of the general population. Applicants who score below the floor are not admitted; above it, the chance of admission rises with the score. Smart-but-untested applicants can sit the test as part of the application.
- 02
Proof of agency
Proof that you're a go-getter: that you take initiative, learn independently, and have real ambition. What have you built? What did you publish, design, code, write, run, organize, ship? We don't need impressive. We need real.
- 03
Obsession
Passion isn't enough. Excellence requires obsession. A technology, business idea, problem, interest, field of study or art form that pulls you toward it whether anyone is watching or not. We look for proof that one of those lives in your life, and that you've been compounding on it for months or years.
- 04
Prioritization
Real ambition costs something real. We look for proof that you'll trade comfort, income, social life, and the safe path when the work demands it, and that you're clear-eyed about why. People who want the upside without the trade-offs don't make it past this filter.
- 05
Ethics
Talented people without conscience scale damage as easily as they scale work. We look for the opposite: applicants who won't take an action whose harm to others is greater than the benefits it brings to anyone, themselves included. Give us an example of a moment when you walked away from something you wanted because the harm it would have done outweighed the gain, and tell us what it cost you.
- 06
Taste
What you read, watch, and recommend tells us how you think. Give us your three favorite works and tell us why.
- 07
A point of view
A unique idea or hot take, in your own words. We'd rather see a sharp opinion than a polished essay.
- 08
Trajectory
Where are you going, and why?
Earned, never inherited.
Everyone is held to the same bar, and admission turns on one thing: what you've done and what you can do. Where you come from, who you know, and what you can pay carry no weight here. The work speaks for itself.

Frequently asked questions
Ambitious young people — outliers, founders, future domain experts — who don't want a four-year degree from a traditional elite institution. We admit roughly the top 2% of applicants. A tested IQ of 120 is a hard floor, and the chance of admission rises from there with evidence of agency (real initiative, independent learning, real ambition), obsession with a technology, business idea, field of study or art form (passion isn't enough), and willingness to sacrifice what the work may demand (e.g. comfort, income, social life, the safe path).
